Dan Rubin is a photographer who started mocking the ever growing trend of selfies by having random pedestrians pose with  a face of a celebrity in front of them. Love Food? Love Art? Foodscapes by Carl Warner

Carl Warner was born in Liverpool, England in 1963.

The ‘Foodscapes’ are created in Carl’s London studio where they are built on top of a large purpose built triangular table top. The scenes are photographed in layers from foreground to background and sky as the process is very time consuming and so the food quickly wilts under the lights. Each element is then put together in post production to achieve the final image.

“Although I’m very hands on with my work, I do use model makers and food stylists to help me create the sets. I tend to start with a drawing which I sketch out in order to get the composition worked out, this acts as a blue print for the team to work to.”

Dogs in Cars by Martin Usborne

Martin’s key interest is man’s relationship to (other) animals. Although his imagery is sometimes dark – capturing the way in which we silence, control or distance ourselves from other animals – his pictures strive for a subtle humour. Martin lives and works in London. He studied philosophy and psychology and then 3D animation before finally settling on photography. He is currently spending a year to see how many animals he can save in 365 days.

Surf Babes Underwater Art photography

Free- & Duck diving surf babes in action in Hawaii – home of the biggest waves in the world. The images were taken by underwater photographer Sarah Lee, 23, who free-dived into the clear waters with her camera to capture the gorgeous girls, simply by holding her breath while the waves crash above her head.

Weird, wonderful or just plain ugly? “Rubber Band Portraits” by Wes Naman

The creative Mexico-based photographer Wes Naman has created a new series, called “Rubber Band”.

Previously he managed to shoot beautiful ugly portraits by using scotch tape, creating rather freaky and monstrous portraits, however all fascinating nonetheless. The Rubber Band project is just as weird, although very entertaining, as most of his projects.
